I'M ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roger proposed to me today!! :) YAAAY! I kind of knew what he was up to, but it was still so wonderful. For Valentine's Day, we had plans to go to The Woodlands to go spend the day there. Instead, he wanted to make it a two day trip and go today (Saturday) and Sunday. I didn't argue, so we went today. What made me REALLY know what he had planned was when he fixed his hair. He normally just wears a hat every time we go somewhere, so I thought man this is serious if he's fixing his hair haha! Well then, when we got to The Woodlands, he took me to the waterway. It's this area similar to the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It has boats, bridges, ponds, and fountains. It's gorgeous! I will post pictures tomorrow since I forgot my camera today. We were just walking down the sidewalk having small talk. Our minds were somewhere else though! Then, we sat down on this bench that overlooked this pretty bridge and the water. Then he turned to me and said, "You know you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, right?" At that moment, I knew what was going on for sure. I remember saying OH MY GOSH and putting my head on his chest and getting so many butterflies! Then he continued his speech with how much he loves me, which is a little vague to me now because of how excited I was getting! Then he pulled the ring out of his BOOT, so I wouldn't see the box in his pocket. Then he got on his knee and asked me to marry him!!!!!!!!!!! I said YES!! Then I immediately started crying and couldn't stop for about 15 minutes. The tears just kept coming. We hugged and took in the moment for just a few minutes. Then I started making my phone calls! I absolutely love everything that happened today. I have the greatest friends and family, and am so excited to start planning everything! I only have the one picture right now, but will post more tomorrow!!

My Last Day at my Job

Today was the last day at the Inmate Trust Fund. This semester, I have to go to Willis ISD and be in the classroom for five weeks. It caused me to have to quit my job. It was very sad leaving everyone. I was more emotional than I thought I would be. Looking at it on the positive side, I am getting closer to graduation and starting a new chapter in my life. I'm very excited about having the next couple of months to focus on school, and not be stressed with work. I honestly don't know what that's like. I know God has a great plan for me, and He will guide me to where I'm supposed to be. I'm so ready to see what's in store!

FIRE!

Roger and I decided to go buy some firewood today, so we could use our fireplace. We had a fireplace in our last apartment, but never used it. It's about to get coooolllld here, so we thought it would be a good idea. I love fires in the fireplace because it's so cozy and warm.

I also haven't taken any pictures of this apartment we are in. Even though we are definitely moving out as soon as our lease is up, I want to have some pictures.

Las Vegas :)

My mom and stepdad took Roger and I to Las Vegas for three days. I have never been before, and I absolutely loved it! It was also my first time to fly. I sat by the window going there. I am scared of heights, but ended up getting used to it. It was beautiful looking down at the world. We went to two different shows that have impersonators. Elvis sang to and kissed my mom and I got to meet Michael Jackson! The impersonator looked so much like him. We also went to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Las Vegas is beautiful and I can't wait to go back!

Halloween

My sad, little pumpkin :(

Well..Halloween ended up being way more entertaining then I thought! Roger and I went to see Paranormal Activity, which was extremely creepy. Then, we went out to Theressa and Draymond's house for a little halloween party. Ended up deciding to go riding in the back of the truck to "Demon's Road"...why? I really don't know. We got pulled over by a sheriff, but everything ended up being okay. We just had to call rides to come get all of us. I enjoyed spending time with my friends and Roger. I am also very excited because I have SIX more reading block classes and then I'm finished with it! I'm getting very close to graduation and cannot wait!!! :)
